Tai Chi

WHAT IS IT? Tai Chi is a form of Martial Arts that dates back over 1000 years and was developed by a Taoist monk named Zhang San Feng. Tai Chi has been practised for fitness and self-defence since the 16th century and is the backbone of Chinese traditional culture.

 As the movements of Tai Chi are slow and gentle on the body, it can be practised by people of all ages. It creates harmony in the body and mind and is extremely valuable at promoting good health and overall wellbeing.

WHAT DOES IT DO? The slow and gentle movements of Tai Chi help stimulate the flow of Chi throughout the body, promoting good health and healing. It is an excellent way to meet people and to spend time outdoors on sunny days absorbing all the natural elements.
