WHAT IS IT? Kinesiology means “the study of movement”. Kinesiology uses muscle monitoring to find imbalances that may be causing sickness and disease in the body. Kinesiology is a non-invasive therapy. It is based on the belief that the body never lies and knows exactly what it needs to repair itself and stay healthy and well-balanced. In your first session your practitioner may ask you a series of questions to find out a little history about you and the patterns affecting your life, such as mental and physical health, occupation, lifestyle, diet, sleep and exercise habits.
WHAT DOES IT DO? The main aim is to detect any imbalances in your body which may be related to lifestyle, nutrition or injury. The main goal is to have your body in balance so that Qi, the energy that is responsible for your health, can flow through the body. As muscles respond in different ways, your practitioner will do some muscle testing to identify different imbalances in your body’s structural, chemical and emotional energy.
