Chiropractor

WHAT IS IT? A chiropractor is a professional health care worker who treats neuromuscular disorders. Chiropractic focuses strongly on the nervous system and the spine, concentrating on restoration of function, injury prevention and relief of back pain. The chiropractor conducts a physical examination to determine the most appropriate treatment. Different treatment plans may include counselling and exercises for rehabilitation.

WHAT DOES IT DO? Chiropractors use a non-surgical approach to treat their clients and do not prescribe medication. Their goal is to relieve pain and improve movement, with an emphasis on treatment through manual adjustment and manipulation of the muscles and joints.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS? Chiropractors are known to help and relieve lower back, leg and neck pain, repetitive strain injury, car accident injuries, arthritic pain, headaches and sports injuries.
